I have been a Licensed Physical Therapist assistant for 19 years and have worked in a variety of settings and roles. 11 Years of my career have been spent in Clinical/ Operational management. During this time, I managed the day-to-day overall functions of 2 practices to including: overall financial management, in house billing, quarterly and yearly budgets, direct physician marketing, clinical supervision of all health care staff and clients, acquisition of new office locations, payroll management, building management, monthly statistical reports for the company based on effective utilization of equipment, staff, time and referral sources, tracking compliance with Medicare and CMS mandates, obtaining and dismissing new staff, new employee orientation and compliance with work place safety and Human Resource Policies. In addition to this, I was also involved in the start up of a integrated medical practice consisting of chiropractic, physical therapy, and medical weight loss. During this experience I managed day to day functions of the outpatient clinic including: supervision of marketing personal, physical therapists and rehabilitation technicians, assisted in accreditation of facility through Medicare and through the DME process, building monthly statistical reports for the company based on effective utilization of equipment, staff, time and referral sources, tracking compliance with Medicare and CMS mandates, obtaining and dismissing new staff, new employee orientation, assisted with implementation of physician directed weight loss program, developed and directed physician driven exercise program for chronic neck and low back pain, researched and designed patient education materials and served as a public liaison at professional functions to the public and other healthcare professionals.
