Mr. Lashlee’s professional experience spans over 42 consecutive years as a Visionary Leader with Arthur Rutenberg Homes, a real estate & construction corporation. After graduating Cum Laude and with honors from the University of Miami in Architecture, Ernie was immediately hired by Arthur Rutenberg Homes, and progressed from being a Residential Designer in Boca Raton, Florida, to a Director of Design in Atlanta, Georgia and to his current position as a Building Company President in the greater Tampa Bay area, Florida. Mr. Lashlee’s area of expertise include P and L responsibility, architectural product design, supply chain, value engineering, purchasing & contract negotiations, finance & accounting, sales & marketing, financial/budget management, training & motivation and team management. Significant achievements include receiving the SEBC Golden Aurora Award & Grand Award for best single family design, four Builder of the Year Titles, Gold Cup Honors, Lifetime Achievement Award and numerous Residential Parade of Homes Honors over the past 42 years. Desirable communities in which he has designed and became a Builder of Choice include Cypress Head, Boca Chase, Boca Pointe, Atlanta Country Club, Cameron Forrest, Isleworth, Windermere, Avila, Westchase, Ladera, Oak Reserve, Waterstone, Bexley and Fish Hawk Ranch. In 2010 Mr. Lashlee became passionately involved in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as an Advocate, Non-Profit Stategist and major Fundraiser.
