About Ernesto Quiroz

I am a Mechanical Engineer who, after three years of R&D experience in the automotive industry, decided to pursue a Master’s in Computational Mechanics in Germany. Since June 2025, I have been working in Munich in the field of dynamics. In the industry I have gained experience in the development of complex hydro-mechanical products, as well as their verification and validation plans. During my time at Schaeffler, I performed order analysis and vibration-based diagnostics on torque converters to identify noise sources and characterize dynamic behavior. This work sparked my interest in advanced signal-processing methods such as FFT, order tracking, and other vibration-analysis techniques.During my Master’s studies at TUM, I built a strong foundation in Solid and Fluid Mechanics and worked extensively with numerical methods such as FEM, CFD, BEM, and SEA. I further deepened my enthusiasm for vibrations and acoustics through specialized courses on integral transformation methods and on modeling and simulation in dynamics, which significantly broadened my analytical and computational skill set. With this combined background, I am currently working in acoustics and vibrations at Müller-BBM, where I continue to develop my expertise in vibroacoustics and dynamic system analysis.
