About Ernie Mudd

I drive product creation to generate business impact, and I am looking for my next career challenge. •I have witnessed and adapted to significant change over my 20+ year career in the tech space. Today, working remotely and using offshore teams are the new norm—a significant shift in the technology space from when I started. Having been on both sides, I can more easily address the challenges and needs of the modern workforce. •I see the future of the IT space allowing for more complex and disparate solutions to be quickly and easily crafted. Our great challenge will be in maintaining user privacy and data security while dealing with the related ethical questions sure to arise. •As a continuous learner, I am always prepared to take on new challenges. I enjoy exploring better UI and UX and building, motivating, and managing high-performance creative teams. •If you ask my colleagues what they would say about me, you would probably hear that I am driven and fair. I strive to make those around me better, and I do not need the credit. I am an idealist tempered by reality, and I can’t see a problem and not try to solve it. •Outside of work, you can find me playing the part of a musician: composing and recording. I also design systems for off-grid living! Oh, I also did a few stints as a sportswriter covering the (2018 Stanley Cup Champion) Washington Capitals.
