About Ernst Plaatsman

I'm the head of our design team with over ten designers and supervise our 3d-printing team. I verify all the designs from the designers and send them back with notes or correct them myself if necessary. I further guide our designers to improve their skills and help the 3d-printing team with design related questions. I also maintain the organization of our library with designs. I helped my current employer by writing a custom program for logging what we print and easily print out reports for our 3d-printing team. For my previous employer I wrote a custom gold- and order-tracking system and improved the flow of information inside of the business which enabled significant time savings on administration. I've also developed a plug-in for Rhinoceros, the 3D-modelling software I use, to add extra functions for creating jewellery designs and speed up the creation of custom designs.
