Ernst has more than 20 years of experience in senior executive roles at market-leading companies providing engineering consulting and high-end capital equipment solutions to companies in the energy, mining, oil, and gas industries. In addition to Ernst's extensive experience building and leading (sales) teams, identifying business opportunities and client-facing, he has a proven track record in driving growth and success in providing high-end value-added propositions to the mineral resources and energy industry. He has also developed and implemented business strategies to increase sales, margins and grow the market share of a company. Furthermore he has participated in various M&A trajectories and lead business transformation processes. His results-oriented and innovative business approach is supported by an intensive customer focus, supportive marketing communications, multi-level networking and daily business pragmatism. Currently, Ernst is the Director of Marketing and Sales at Duiker Clean Technologies, a leading provider of hydrogen, ammonia- and sulphur recovery solutions. In this role, he is overall responsible for all global commercial activities, as well as identifying and driving new business opportunities, building international strategic networks for the company’s ammonia propositions. Ernst is driven by the mission that all innovation and opportunities should meaningful contribute to reducing emissions and waste for his clients and the planet.
