About Errol Huffman

I enjoy working in higher education, auxiliary services, and undergraduate instruction. The environment gets into your blood and a passion develops that is difficult to describe to people who have not worked in such a place. I've enjoyed a diverse career over the years, including opportunities as a business consultant and duties in the military. Both paths gave me great experiences in managerial and financial accounting and analysis, strategic management consulting, decision analysis, operations and supply chain management, e-business and marketing, HRM, risk management, and CSR. Experiences outside routine duties include Emergency Management and Business Continuity Planning for my employer and EMA planning for the community. I'm proud to have served as an MP Officer as a company commander, battalion primary staff officer, and brigade liaison. Service gave me unique opportunities ranging from combat missions to work as chief military adviser to the successful civilian, ministerial development and reconstruction program for Department of Prisons, Iraqi Ministry of Justice. The experiences working with U.N. representatives, host nation government officials, and with U.S. officials from State Department, Treasury Department, DOJ, DOD, civilian contractors and their companies are unforgettable and invaluable. Specialties: hospitality management, strategic management, personnel management, leadership, and planning. Life and career experiences provided me with a broad view on vision development, mission definition, and the functional areas that support those ends. I understand the importance of professional development, flexible leadership, coaching and mentoring, and organizational behavior.
