I have been privileged in my 20 plus year career including 7 plus years at the management level, to have developed and written over 75 procedural manuals to date for various multinational organizations, which are currently utilized during Claims Processing, Claims Training, and within Customer Service Departments. I have led North American based project teams, onboarded international clients and currently supervise a team of Contact Centre Agents. Previous leaders have described me as insightful, results oriented, and adaptive, a valuable outside of the box thinker who is willing to challenge the status quo. A leader, team player, and collaborator who takes initiative and thrives in fast-paced environments. Originally from Barbados and having migrated to Canada just over a decade ago, I have embarked on a journey to become a part of the Canadian dream of open diversity and inclusion. I am a people person at heart, and I am at my best within a team setting, working to help other grow and achieve their full potential. Life have afforded me the opportunity to be immersed in two distinct cultures and to have been engaged in a tapestry of life experiences from working for the Government of Barbados as an Insurance Regulator, to working at a Kraft pudding plant to managing a barber shop in Mississauga. I am open to life experiences and challenges with a desire to have a positive influence and impact on all I encounter throughout my life, my “can-do” personality coupled with a creative and innovative attitude, I strives for continued improvement as a person along with my career development.
