Accomplished engineering professional with over 15 years of experience in managing and leading high-profile, complex infrastructure projects. Expertise spans construction management, intra-agency coordination, risk mitigation, multimillion-dollar contract negotiation, and team leadership. Notably led the program management of the award-winning Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, the largest transportation infrastructure project in Washington, D.C.’s history. Directed the development of Black Lives Matter Plaza, transforming it into an international pedestrian destination in downtown Washington, D.C. Developed and executed a project management and communication strategy that balanced local and national interests with those of private, District, and federal stakeholders. Spearheaded the implementation of the innovative DC Streetcar along the H Street and Benning Rd. corridor, overseeing the construction of the carbarn facility and ensuring the transportation maintenance of the entire Streetcar fleet. Founded S.T.R.I.V.E, a high school engineering construction program dedicated to mentoring the next generation of industry professionals.
