About Erryn Eckhardt

With nearly three decades of social work experience and 18 years of nonprofit senior leadership, I have the privilege of leading CASA of Solano County as Executive Director. Previously I served as the Deputy Director at the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) in Indianapolis, led the Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO), and have served on several influential committees, including the Governance Committee of the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs and as chairperson for the Ohio Family Violence Prevention Council, advising the Governor on family violence matters. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, my journey began in Kentucky, working in child protection after graduating from Capital University. After earning my Master of Social Work from Spalding University, I spent seven years in Chicago developing services for those experiencing homelessness before specializing in cultural competency training and technical assistance throughout the United States. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to creating positive and healthy workplace environments that promote staff wellness and sustainable advocacy work. My professional path has been defined by a deep commitment to advocacy and community empowerment. When not working, I enjoy life in San Francisco’s Japantown neighborhood with my partner and two dogs, Nieko and Regina. As an avid baseball fan, amateur photographer, and music lover who sings whenever possible, I bring both professional expertise and personal passion to my work advocating for those who need a voice in Solano County.
