About Erwin Struwig

As a seasoned architect, I bring a wealth of experience across various architectural typologies and urban design projects. My journey began at the University of Pretoria (South Africa), where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Architecture (BScArch), followed by an Honours degree (BScArh) and a Master of Architecture (MArch) in Professional Architecture.Over the years, I've cultivated a diverse portfolio of both conceptual and realized works, honing my skills in design, project management, and execution across different scales simultaneously. What sets me apart is my integration of photography into my architectural process. This unique perspective, cultivated through keen observation and detailed analysis, complements my formal architectural training, enriching my approach to each project.Beyond the confines of architecture, photography has been my gateway to exploring cities, landscapes, and cultures. It has granted me insights into the intricate details, processes, and the prevailing zeitgeist. My extensive travels through South East Asia, Europe, and the US have further broadened my architectural perspective, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural nuances and global design movements.I am passionate about leveraging this multifaceted background to create innovative and impactful architectural solutions that resonate with communities and stand the test of time.
