Technical team leader for NXP’s Trust Provisioning R&D team.‘I solve problems’Not only managing the team, but taking an active technical role assessing (customer) requirements and translating those to capabilities of the team and our extensive code base. I enjoy doing some of the programming myself. This enables me to keep up-to-date with the technical details. Details matter!With my team I take care of the Trust Provisioning engineering for a wide range of NXP products. From simple NFC tags (Mifare DESFire, ICODE, UCODE, NTAG) to the advanced SmartMX JCOP products (including P40, P5, P60, P71, A71CH and the recently launched SE050 EdgeLock).Trust Provisioning is the secure injection of chip-individual (cryptographic) objects during the IC production. This reduces the time, effort and capabilities necessary to (pre-)personalize the secure element and enables a.o. proof-of-origin and the establishment of an IC-based root-of-trust.See: & & & tid=vanSE050 for our latest product launch.My skills include:* Team leadership and coaching. Getting the best out of a small technical team.* Pragmatic problem solver.* Multiple programming languages: C#, C++, C, Java, assembly, Tcl/tk, Perl, Awk and hardware design languages like Verilog, VHDL;* Broad software development experience, ranging from (simple) GUIs down to compilers/assemblers and firmware development for Hardware Security Modules (HSM);* Experience with smartcards and secure elements, both from software and hardware perspective;* Security expert: knowledge of (the application of) cryptography, including encryption (AES/DES/RSA/ECC), PKI’s and certificate generation. Involvement in security audits (e.g. Common Criteria).
