About Esau Chikuri

Esau is a 57 year old gentleman, married with two daughters and has work experience of 33 years (1992 – 2025). Esau's work experience is diverse focusing on business consultancy, operations management (projects, training and development, quality, production, maintenance, warehouse and distribution) and general management. He has worked in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana on business unit / department turnarounds and infrastructure delivery assignments by undertaking strategic planning, business case development, and financial due diligence. Esau has led business units and maximized their efficiencies by improving on corporate governance, planning, capacity utilization, introducing and enforcing the implementation of the following; cost reduction strategies, product development, market development, quality management systems, performance measurements, training, service delivery and strict organizational discipline. He was a Microbiologist (1992-1994) at a Research Laboratory before he became a Production Controller at Dairibord Zimbabwe ( 1994-1996). At Bakers Inn ( Manufacturers of bread, rolls, buns, pies, biscuits, cakes and confectionery products) in Zimbabwe, he worked as a Production - 2004) and was promoted to the position of General Manager ( 03/2004 to 12/2006). In 2003,he provided technical support for the establishment of a new bread manufacturing plant from concept phase to operation phase. He successfully assisted other bakeries in the group to overcome operational challenges. He played a pivotal role in establishing some new plants from business case to operation phases. He was a General Manager for Raddon Industries for a year, 2007. He was responsible for planning and efficient running of all business units. He ensured that customers received timeously high quality products at the right price and maximized profits. He worked as a Warehouse and Distribution Manager at Detpak SA (2008 - 2011), Project Manager at Nako Development Projects (04/ 2011 - 12/2012) and a Training Consultant at Capri Bakeries, Botswana (2013). Currently, he works as a Business Consultant and also until November 2024, facilitated in Corporate governance modules, Business Ethics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Project Management, Risk Assessment Models and Methodologies among other Business and Marketing related modules (South Africa).
