About Esha Sardar

Hey there! I’m Esha — a curious and creative soul navigating the complex, ever-evolving world of environmental engineering with a passion for turning climate challenges into opportunities for real impact (and making the process a little more fun along the way!).Currently wearing two hats: I’m a Carbon Project Specialist at Desilyon Sustainability Solutions, where I lead the development of carbon credit certifications for renewable energy projects, deep-dive into GHG calculations, and work closely with international standards like VERRA, GCC, and GSF to help bring climate ambitions to life. At the same time, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Environmental Engineering at ODTÜ (METU), exploring everything from urban water-energy nexus modeling to climate risk management. My toolkit includes: Carbon footprinting & GHG accounting Renewable energy systems & decarbonization strategy Hydrological modeling Water & wastewater management Communicating complex science with clarity and impactBut there's more to me than models and metrics — I’m also a creative at heart. I love designing, whether it’s crafting visual reports, building engaging presentations, or dreaming up innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Creative problem-solving is where I shine! As an international student who moved solo at 18, I bring resilience, adaptability, and a global perspective to every project. I thrive in collaborative settings, love breaking down big ideas, and believe the best solutions come from diverse minds working together. When I’m not solving climate puzzles or designing something fresh, you’ll probably find me on a volleyball court—spiking stress away and keeping my energy high.Let’s connect, share ideas, and create sustainable solutions with purpose. Because the future is green—and we’re building it now.
