With 13 years of diverse experience in healthcare, I have had the privilege of leading clinical operations in various specialties, including Adult Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. In my current role, I oversee a dynamic team of 9 adult genetics providers and 3 genetic counselors, supporting the Adult Genetics Department. Prior to this, I managed a team of 15 providers across multiple specialties such as otolaryngology, facial plastics, audiology, and allergy services at Texas ENT Specialist. My experience also spans ante/postpartum care, geriatrics, and transplant services, further broadening my expertise in healthcare operations. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of healthcare team dynamics, from hiring and training to performance monitoring and process improvement. I’ve been responsible for implementing systems that align productivity with patient needs, ensuring efficient staffing, and maintaining seamless patient care processes. My role has involved everything from providing patient consultations to outlining financial coverage and payment options. Dedicated to delivering top-tier patient service, I take pride in managing patient scheduling, registrations, and inquiries with compassion and efficiency. My focus is always on optimizing patient satisfaction while maintaining operational excellence. With a solid foundation in both clinical and administrative roles, I bring a diverse skill set that I am eager to apply to furthering the success of any healthcare team I am part of.
