I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Eshan Parikh, and I’m a writer and lm scholar who originally hails from New Delhi, India. I have worked extensively in the eld of lm and television, having written three original feature screenplays, an original TV pilot and have undertaken various creative transmedia projects, all on spec. I have also written coverage (screenplay analysis for plot, story and structure) for produced and unproduced scripts while working for a London based production company. Apart from holding an expertise on certain practical aspects of cinema, I have an established academic background in Film, helping me acquire a critical and theoretical understanding of the same. As a creative professional, I have worked as a copywriter and a freelance advertising consultant for two separate brands of a multinational corporation. My work included cracking the basic concept and then build the same into a 360-degree campaign which included writing and directing a TV commercial and a corporate lm. All the lm and commercial work that I have done has made me realize that my passion is telling stories. I am intrigued by the idea of taking complicated emotional and social concepts and convert them into emotional triggers that percolate deep into the mind of the common people. A great story can be told in three hours or in a few seconds and even a line and an image. I'm looking for the opportunity to sharpen my skills further, working with and learning from like minded, experienced people. I believe I would be an asset as I am driven purely by my hunger to create and help create good work
