About Eshan Prashar

I am a Data Scientist at UChicago where I'm contributing to judicial research using NLP techniques. I graduated with a Master's in Computer Science and Public Policy, combining my interest in technology and its responsible use at scale. Previously, I contributed as an Analytics Manager in LEAD School, India's first B2B EdTech unicorn, where I collaborated with Strategy, Product and Engineering to build a metrics-driven product development and prioritization approach improving acquisition and retention metrics across 1.5M+ students and 50K+ teachers. Prior to that, I was an Analytics Team Lead at Pratham, India's largest education non-profit, where I contributed across program strategy, implementation and product management initiatives to improve learning outcomes of 1M+ students in rural India. I started my career as a Data Analyst at McKinsey & Company, where I built segmentation and classification models for Fortune 500 clients across Europe and North America. My core competencies include data science, product analytics and operations; my biggest value-addition is the ability to speak the language of multiple teams, collaborate and get the job done.
