My name is Islam Magdy i worked with Halliburton Sperry Egypt for 8 years started my career as a Data Engineer was engaged in both onshore and offshore operations drilled the deepest offshore well with BP in the Mediterranean sea get recognized for the performance from BP middle east operation manager in the rig visit. Joined the directional drilling team December 2014 as a well planner with shell joint venture company BAPETCO, PICO, BP and major customer in Egypt got two MVPs as recognition for performance then the role became bigger to be well design engineer in the DES team as in house engineer in shell joint venture company BAPETCO doing directional plans BHA optimization vibration analysis building the database from scratch on their system drilled and designed with BAPETCO successfully the longest horizontal section in Egypt and 3 other horizontal well with their sidetracks which gave huge experience in the horizontal drilling in 2019 i got the chance to take the drilling optimization course in Dubai with the most esteemed instructors in this field and late 2019 got the Well design course.
