About Essay Worabo

Essay Worabo (Essay) grew up in Ethiopia. He started his career while he was in university. He worked at Cybersoft Software Company, developing enterprise-level projects. Soon after he graduated, he formed his own consulting service where he provided IT services to the Compassion International Head Office, and ELROI PLC, an environmental protection used oil company. Later, he received the opportunity to come to the US for higher education at Indiana University (IU). He finished his Master's in Public Affairs while working as an IT Consultant at IU. Once he finished an internship, he went back to Ethiopia and started working for an international humanitarian agency, the Lutheran World Federation (LWF). He worked closely with the CEO of the LWF and served as the liaison for the Dollo Ado refugee projects, interfacing with the United Nations, local government, and other international agencies. Ultimately, Essay was selected by a US government program to come to the US to live permanently. Soon after he arrived in 2012, he managed his own IT business located in Clayton, a suburb of St. Louis. He provided technology services for the manufacturing industry (Lippert), a limousine company (American Transportation), and a taxi company (St. Louis Metropolitan) while working full-time for Sheraton. He was also involved with a research program on refugees living in St. Louis for which he was the second author of the publication. Since joining Accenture in 2014, Essay has worked with clients from varied industries. He works within the advanced analytics space, focusing on data to help clients identify patterns, optimize processes, and increase profitability. Currently, he spends his time working on Agentic AI Solutions.
