I have worked for Henry Ford Health System for 14 years in various positions such as CSR, Patient Advocate, Pre-operative Assistant, CNA, OR scheduler/ Secretary II for the Neurosurgery department. Current position Disability Case Manager for Elevance Health. •My duties include but not limited to registering/scheduling patients for new/return physician appointments, verifying insurance through third parties. I have experience in answering multi-lines, transferring calls to appropriate staff. I call insurance companies on a daily basis to obtain authorizations for surgical procedures, and radiologic studies. I have CPT and ICD-10 code experience that I use when boarding surgical cases for Neurosurgery. I have the ability to work under pressure both as a team member as well as on my own. I worked at Motor City Casino as a Assistant Slot Manager for 4 years, giving me experience in handling cash and customer disputes. I have received several awards for excellent customer service. My strengths are in customer service, being an effective communicator which can improve the quality of external and internal communications.
