About Estu Ramos

Driven by curiosity and a passion for robotics and electronics, I studied abroad in Japan, where I served as Vice President and Head of 3D Printing for the Robotics Research Club at Osaka College of Technology. At Oregon State University, I contributed to the design of the club’s Mars Rover, gaining experience in multidisciplinary engineering collaboration.Today, I manage automation projects from design through commissioning, including programming PLCs, developing HMI interfaces, and troubleshooting complex control systems. As an Applications Engineering Intern at Lattice Semiconductor, I supported clients' FPGA designs, contributing to RTL design, simulation, and power optimization.Over the years, I’ve combined formal education with self-directed learning to take on roles ranging from contributor to project lead. My experience spans the full development cycle of robotic, electronic, and automation systems, including- Programming PLCs (AB, Schneider, Automation Direct)- Designing UL 508A-compliant control panels with AutoCAD Electrical- Designing, prototyping, and debugging electronic circuits- Embedded system programming in C and Assembly for ARM processors- Diagnosing PCBs with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and digital logic analyzers- Creating mechanical parts and assemblies with AutoCAD and Inventor- Generating CAM files for 3-axis CNC machining- Developing servo-actuated bipedal robots- Building, troubleshooting, and maintaining FDM 3D printersI’m passionate about applying these skills to solve real-world engineering challenges, leading projects from concept to completion, and continuously expanding my technical expertise.
