About Ethan Busbridge
Having completed my degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of South Australia, I have since been on to experience the roles of a Strength and Conditioning Coach through Basketball SA’s National Intensive Training Program (NITP), while also developing my exercise assessment, programming and delivery skills working as a Personal Trainer at Starplex in Evanston Park. Implementing all the knowledge I have gained from my studies have been the most interesting and enjoyable part, as well as learning how to prescribe exercise to athletes and the general population in order to gain specific adaptations. Thanks to my experience through the NITP and my continuing work at Starplex, I have developed a passion for strength and conditioning and helping athletes achieve their goals.I am currently working with STARplex’s National Swimming Squad, conducting athlete testing, technique and strength sessions, and also developing a tool to automatically keep track of individual session loads, personal best and current swim times, fatigue, and other key performance indicators.
