About Ethan Drouillard

As an adolescent, I participated in numerous athletics, and always took pride in understanding the science behind each sport. Athletics of any kind have always been my passion, and I have dreamed of coaching for as long as I can remember. Since graduating High School, I attended Olivet College for 1 year, where I competed on their swim team and studied Sports Psychology and Coaching, however, before the beginning of my second year there were some financial issues in my family and I was unable to return. Since then I have been working on gaining experience in the coaching field, as I am currently an Assistant USA Swim Coach and Head Coach for Tecumseh Middle School swim. In my first year coaching, I have had numerous kids qualify for the Junior Olympics, and my Middle School team recently had their State competition in which we had countless Top 8 finishers and finished 4th overall. I am really hoping to find a steady job that will allow me to go back to school and pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Psychology so that I can continue working toward my goal to become a full time coach.
