About Ethan Galli

Growing up I was always drawn to working and gaining new experiences in professional environments. I quickly became an excellent learner and started working towards my goal of attending a four year university. During my years in high school I took an interest in politics, law, and economics and soon started planning how I would deepen my understanding of these fields in higher education. While I was preparing to make social science my main focus, I had also grown up studying music through the piano, clarinet, and bass guitar, and wanted to further my education in playing and writing music. In 2019 I made a crucial concrete step and became the first person in my entire family to attend a four year university. I majored in political science and minored in music theory at the University of Oregon and took my work very seriously. It wasn’t long before my studies in music took over, and I soon became obsessed with music composition within my first year at the university. Throughout my time at the UO I built upon my skills in piano musicianship and completed many courses relating to performance, composition, theory, and music history. I graduated in June of 2023 and I am extremely eager to put the skills and experiences I have learned into a new professional setting.
