About Ethan Gomes

I'm a Master's student in Information Systems at Northeastern University and a former Software Developer at Qdnet Technologies combining my technical skills with a passion for building efficient secure and scalable applications. My journey started with a Bachelor's in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Mumbai University where I built a strong foundation in data management system design and programming. At QNet Technologies I had the chance to work on some exciting projects like developing Django-based web applications that significantly reduced deployment time by 50% through Python automation. I also worked on optimizing PostgreSQL and MySQL databases to cut down query times by 20% while enhancing data integrity. Building interactive UI elements with JavaScript and HTML and streamlining REST API systems became second nature to me always aiming for both efficiency and a smooth user experience. Projects are where I love to innovate and solve real-world challenges. For instance I developed a Vehicle Tracking and Management System with REST API integration to handle and visualize data from over 15 000 vehicles. I also worked on an Electric Vehicle Charging System using WebSocket protocols which was a fascinating deep dive into IoT and data processing. With experience across a variety of tools and frameworks like Python NodeJS GIT AWS and Cisco Networking I’m continually expanding my skill set and staying updated with the latest technologies. I’m excited to connect with others who are passionate about software development and data engineering and to explore roles where I can contribute meaningfully to impactful projects.
