About Ethan Greer

I am a highly motivated aerospace enthusiast planning to graduate in spring of 2027 with my bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Though my degrees will be in mechanical engineering, I have strategically planned my master’s courses to allow me to take most of the aerospace-related classes offered at my school, including Advanced Finite Element Analysis and Propulsion Systems this year. In addition to my coursework, I am also a proud member of Rose Rocketry, specifically the NASA University Student Launch Initiative team. As a member, I have worked on both the payload and vehicle teams for the past 2 years, designing the prototype nosecone for the 2024-2025 rocket as well as improving the bulkhead design. But what I am most proud of is my presentation of our Preliminary Design Review to a panel of scientists and engineers at NASA. Outside of academics, I am passionate about service work and helping the community. My work at Camp Compass has helped me discover my love of teaching, and my involvement on the soccer and ultimate frisbee intramurals teams has helped me reset my focus when engineering becomes overwhelming. In my free time, I can also be found reading fantasy and science fiction novels and watching soccer. I'm currently seeking Summer 2026 Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related internship positions, so feel free to connect or share any opportunities that you know of!
