About Ethan Hong

I operate on systems.Early in my academic career, I relied on motivation and saw the result: a 3.0 GPA as a pre-med. That experience forced a shift. I rebuilt how I work by prioritizing structure, consistency, and execution over intensity. Since then, I’ve raised my GPA in accounting while taking on leadership responsibilities and preparing for the CPA.Outside the classroom, I apply the same approach. Competing in powerlifting taught me to stay in uncomfortable environments and build capacity through them instead of avoiding them. That mindset now drives how I approach academics, leadership, and long term growth. My strengths:Analytical, systems-based thinkingConsistent execution under pressureStrong situational awareness in team settingsI focus on building processes that produce reliable outcomes, whether it be in financial analysis, team environments, or personal performance.I’m pursuing opportunities in Big 4 tax, where high standards, technical rigor, and consistency compound over time.
