About Ethan Jenkins

Hello, my name is Ethan Jenkins; I graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors and received my B.A. in political science and media studies from Queens College, part of the City University of New York. I focused my education on understanding the contemporary political climate of the United States of America. I have experience working as a Credit Analyst for a Silicon Valley FinTech firm, being an Elections Clerk during the 2020 election, serving as a Congressional Intern on Capitol Hill, and advocating for voting rights with a non-partisan organization in Queens. Currently, I am embarking on my graduate studies at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where I am enrolled in their Master of Public Administration: Public Policy and Administration program. Through the curriculum and work experience, I aim to broaden my understanding of creating, implementing, and evaluating public policy. In addition to studying, I have the pleasure of being the Program Coordinator for the Immigrant Student Support Initiative at Queens College, as well as a Graduate Assistant at the Summit Apartments. In these roles, I coordinate with college administration officials to better the university's public student services.
