Background

About Ethan Masunaga

I am a Purdue Graduate who completed a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Psychology. I enjoy working with people and solving problems with creative solutions. I want to work in the area of software development/engineering where I utilize my programming skills, analytical, creative problem-solving skills while leveraging my abilities in decision making, project management, effective communication, and collaboration within a team. I attribute the foundation of my creativity and diversity to having lived in Illinois, Arkansas, Texas, growing up in the city of Chicago, attending Lane Tech College Prep High School in Chicago from my 7th grade through my graduation and traveling to different countries. I continue to exercise my creative skills through graphic design, playing guitar, film making, writing songs and cooking. Through playing 9 years of travel ice hockey through my senior year in high school (as well as high school ice hockey and lacrosse), I have developed the ability to make decisions, communicate, perform as a team member and manage time. My role as Vice President of Operations in my fraternity (Delta Tau Delta) allows me, as a team member, to continue to develop my decision making, collaboration and communication skills as well as problem solving as well as project management.
