About Ethan Moody

After graduating high school, my initial plan was to work in the construction field in order to save money for an eventual trip to college. I started work for T&T Contractors, a General contracting company specializing in wood athletic flooring and fluid applied athletic flooring, in 2019 as an installer. From 2019-2021 I traveled all around Oregon and Washington installing wood and synthetic flooring products mostly in schools, but also in different commercial and residential applications. in 2021, I was promoted to Project Manager/ jobsite foreman and I began the process of learning the ins-and-outs of being a project manager, as well as still working in the field and managing our crew. Throughout the last 3 years I have transitioned to working mostly in the office as a Project Manager, while still completed field work when necessary for the operations of T&T Contractors. In August of 2024, I was promoted to a Sr. Operations manager position, where my responsibilities have increased exponentially. As a Project Manager, some my my responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure goals are met on time, within scope, and within budget. I serve as the primary point of contact between, team members and clients, with a focus on clear communication and throughout any given project I am managing. My day-to-day responsibilities include providing submittals/ Shop drawings on the projects I am assigned to, coordinating punch list items, processing and responding to RFI's, ordering materials, website maintenance, proactive project delay management, problem solving issues that arise, and job file maintenance, among other things. Although my promotion to Sr. Operations Manager was recent, I have used this increased responsibility to start the process of refining how T&T Contractors operates both in the field, and in the office. With T&T Contractors, I have had a workplace education on the many different aspects of being a Project Manager/ Sr Operations Manager. I am looking forward to continuing my career in this field, while continually learning and growing in my professional life as a whole.
