I am originally from Idaho but moved to Utah for graduate school and better access to investment banking opportunities. I enjoy motorcycling and anything automotive. I like being involved on campus through various clubs and professional organizations, meeting new people and making meaningful connections. I have always been eager to work since I started working at 14 years old, and take pride in being productive and adding value where I can. I enjoy working with things, whether that is my motorcycle, truck, computer, or even software. Breaking things down into smaller, understandable pieces and figuring out creative ways to improve efficiency and quality. I am enthusiastic about Excel, which I consider myself to have advanced skills, and I enjoy creating financial models, pro forma financial statements, and workpapers with automated features to efficiently solve complex analyses. I am also proficient in using other Microsoft Office products, the Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, and other financial information software. I take pride in making my work visually appealing and intuitive. I currently help manage the University of Utah Masters Student Investment Fund, where I co-develop investment strategies through equity research, as well as general administrative tasks. I am eager for a career in investment banking, especially within the mergers and acquisitions environment, but I am also interested in learning more about corporate credit and commercial lending. I'm always happy to make time to chat over a call, coffee, lunch, or dinner.
