Streamlined the manufacturing process employing cutting edge machinery greatly increasing overall efficiency. Drafted, and implemented new vial, box, and label designs for the 3 new product lines. Modified the shipping protocol and developed a system of packaging reagent vials maximizing physical, and thermal stability, while minimizing waste material.Research Internship May 2023 – Sept 2023Fugene | Madison, WI Designed, conducted, and analyzed over 20 different transfection experiments in a single summer, yielding nearly all the relevant data for a future research paper that we’re looking to publish later this year (2024). Screening over 200 different gene knockdowns on both lung, and pancreatic cancer cell lines, we were quickly able to reconcentrate on roughly 15 main mRNA-sequences that when inhibited, significantly prevent cancer growth, with some even completely killing the cancer. Gene Transfection is going to be one of the defining technologies of our time and will undoubtedly pave the way for the future of patient-tailored therapeutics.
