About Ethan Pullman

My professional background is diverse and through which I strive to demonstrate my passion for creative learning and acquisition of knowledge. After graduating with My B.S. in French, with a minor in Computer Science. I decided to spend a few years developing real word experience as I began to set the foundation for my future. I gained insight to the corporate world through bar managing and working as a sales rep for Estee-Lauder. I truly enjoyed the service industry aspects but I also wanted to pursue my passion for education and decided to enter academia once again. After obtaining my Masters in Library and Information Science and working as a librarian, I chose to specialize in instruction where I could combine my academic and public service training. I also pursued teaching and continued to build my knowledge by enrolling in the PhD program of Linguistics at the University of Pittsburgh which, after moving to Carnegie Mellon University, my path lead me to earning a Masters in Rhetoric. Currently, I have a strong interest in online instruction and particularly in open pedagogy.
