About Ethan S.
I am a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Santa Cruz, pursuing a B.S. in Cognitive Science (AI/HCI emphasis) and a B.A. in Psychology. Currently, I'm a research assistant in the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab led by Dr. Megan Boudewyn, where we use electroencephalography (EEG), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to study attention and language processing. Outside of my coursework, I serve as Co-Director of Symposium for UCSC's chapter of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology. Additionally, I teach two classes a week as an indoor cycling instructor at the UCSC Fitness Center. I have a passion for research with a wide range of interests including user-experience (UX), psycholinguistics, and cognitive neuroscience.
