About Ethan Sauer

I am an sUAS Project Manager, Instructor, Evaluator, at the US Army, with over hours of operating Threat/Small Unmanned Aerial Systems. I am also pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity at Grand Canyon University, where I am learning how to protect and defend digital systems and networks from cyberattacks. In my current role as an MQ-1 Operator, I perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and procedures, and conduct site selection, emplacement, and deployment of the air vehicles and ground equipment of the UAS. I also participate in launch/recovery ground crew operations, and work with multiple types of groups and apply my experience to different missions and scenarios. I am passionate about enhancing the security and efficiency of the UAS operations, and I enjoy collaborating with and supporting my fellow operators and instructors. I value the opportunity to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and to contribute to the organization's goals and culture.
