About Ethan Stahl

I am a musician, pianist, and teacher. I have played the piano for almost 15 years, along the way earning top prizes in competitions, performing with various ensembles and in various styles, and finding a love for composing and improvising in my own, personal idiom. Having just received my Bachelors in Keyboard Performance from Missouri State University, I currently teach Music Theory there as a graduate assistant. I also teach private piano lessons virtually, through Wyzant and Clefology, and in-person in the Springfield area. Next May, I plan to receive a Masters in Music from Missouri State University, meanwhile completing my two-year tenure as a part-time Music Theory instructor with them. My passion in life is working with others to share the joy of music. It has enriched my life every day since I first picked up a toy keyboard at age seven, and, through teaching, I am blessed to give others the opportunity to experience that enrichment. Teaching in any capacity is about helping the student blossom in their own way, and the success thereof bears a lifetime of significance.
