About Ethan Vannest

I am a software engineering immersive graduate from General Assembly. Prior to General Assembly, I worked in numerous retail positions, which gave me the opportunity to lead through designing product layout, as well as coordinating team oriented designs. These opportunities allowed me to enhance my ability to make decisions that would create the best experience for the consumer. This has allowed me to make something that would be beneficial and easy to navigate to the consumer as well as making sure others who would work on it are able to pick up where I leave off. I have always had an eye for creating and like making things from the ground up and admiring the work that went into it. Over the course of time that I had at General Assembly, I have picked up many skills such as React, Express, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Flask, JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, Git/GitHub, Heroku as well as a few others. When not writing code, reading, or in general trying to prepare myself for any challenge that may arise, I spend my time hanging out with loved ones, working on vehicles, playing guitar, and gaming.
