About Ethan Vinicky

What sparked my level of interest in Cyber Security was computer gaming as a child. There are some cruel folks out there that target young kids for what they have. It was a foreign subject at the time for me but then I started to learn how to defend and reverse different attacks and viruses thus making me protected. This then lead me to think about how the government has to deal with cyber threats and to what level the threats could get to. I started learning different coding programs in 6th grade while creating my first website in 7th grade. I now know 3 different languages and am striving to learn more about python. I’m currently working to finish my associate degree in cyber security at Columbus State Community College and would like to eventually be a cyber security architect for a larger company. I work well managing and developing individuals and programs and work well with customer issues that need resolved. I have a good understanding of the real world problems that can come my way in the tech world whether it’s OWASP Top 10 problems or simply just a virus of some sort. I’ve been working in trampoline parks for 4 years now, I started as a court monitor and quickly moved my way up into the Team Lead role. I then after 6 months moved up to a Supervisor at Skyzone. I then joined Rockin’ Jump as a supervisor and shortly after a year and a break from covid. I moved up to assistant manager at the Dublin, Ohio location. I strive to learn and better my understanding of different circumstances that get thrown my way.
