About Ethan Wons

My name is Ethan Wons, and I'm a senior studying Strategic Communications at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Before I started at Mizzou, I was unsure of where my career was headed. I have always been a strong communicator navigating the strategic world, but I didn't know what was best for me until I enrolled in the J-school. Equipped with journalistic expertise from the J-school, I have found many opportunities to thrive in related class work and on-campus organizations. My leadership experience in Pi Kappa Phi has served as an extension of my strategic communication background. By creating community and collaborating with peers, I have led many successful communication events/efforts involving parents, alumni and the Greek community to strengthen relationships near and far. I was able to find my passion in the people that surround me. Now more than ever, I have found where my career is headed. My continued involvement on campus allows me to pursue leadership positions that create change in communities around Mizzou.
