About Ethan Yost

My career began in the great industrial gas industry with Victor Welding Supply in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Starting truly from the bottom as a temp, I led the fill plant to new levels of production, maintained their CFR 49 and medical CFR 21 production, safety, and other onsite training requirements. Performed QC and engaged in precision manufacturing with precision lab equipment. Increased efficiency integrating existing legacy systems with Zebra printer technology and android OS s improving accuracy to the inventory control process. Over two years with this company made it difficult to part ways, however I had to make the decision to go back and complete my Bachelor in SCM. Upon completion, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. Work for a Fortune 500 company, and learn what it takes for a company to compete in the big leagues. So I moved 1,300 miles away to be welcomed at J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc, a leader at the forefront of the transportation industry. The tools I have at J.B. Hunt as a leader, operations manager, employee manager with financial and accounting responsibilities include: Workday, PowerBI, Microsoft Office Suite, Geotab, Lytx, and Peoplenet. Most importantly, our support teams who maintain these tools so we can ultimately be effective. Today, my career is at its peak. I work in the 6th largest city in the USA, with 10 employees and 28 operating pieces of equipment. From here, I hope to only get bigger.
