About Ethan Zhou

I am a Data Analyst at Arthur D. Riley & Co Ltd, providing data analytics and business intelligence support across the ADR Group to enable operational and financial decision-making. I design and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking, delivering clear and actionable insights to management and stakeholders. A core part of my role involves building and maintaining automated ETL pipelines in R, processing and validating data from over telemetry loggers across multiple business units. My work focuses strongly on data integration, cleaning, and modelling, combining data from internal systems including Odoo, AMR portals, CRM platforms, and consent databases to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. I work closely with operational teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions that support trend analysis, performance monitoring, and business reporting.Previously, I worked as an Operations Coordinator at Arthur D. Riley, delivering analytical reporting on device performance and customer activity while gaining hands-on experience with telemetry systems and operational workflows. Earlier, I was a Data Science Intern at SUEZ Smart Solutions, where I applied machine learning techniques to optimise energy efficiency and developed interactive dashboards to communicate complex insights to stakeholders. I also serve as a Teaching Assistant at Auckland University of Technology, supporting courses in logic, discrete mathematics, optimisation, and operations research.
