And. to be honest, these shifts aren’t easy in our dominant culture—which is why we exist. I’ve spent years working alongside leaders who care deeply about their teams, their missions, and the impact they make. What I’ve learned is that leadership doesn’t just live in the big moments—it’s found in the daily interactions, the pauses between decisions, and the space we hold for growth—this is where we invest. Originally from the east coast, I now belong to two lands—Moh'kinstsis (Calgary) and Unama’ki (Cape Breton). These places, influenced by rivers, land, and relationships, have taught me that leadership, like nature, thrives when we honour its rhythms and connections—past, present, and future.
