About Euan Hamilton

I currently work for Allenwest at our site in Prestwick, Scotland and have a Masters Degree in Product Design Engineering, which I obtained in 2018 through the University of Strathclyde. My current job title is Operations Manager. In recent times, I gained the company accreditation to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, as well as retaining our ATEX certification through BASEEFA. Alongside these audits I have also been given the opportunity to become an accredited internal auditor through our association with a consultancy team. I have been given the opportunity to work on, and project manage, some large projects with various industry leaders in the Mining, Tunneling and Cabling sectors. I have also been responsible for Health and Safety and Environmental issues for the company and successfully implemented management systems for each. In addition, I have been given the opportunity to work with the Engineering Department on product design and product cost-down projects which allowed me to use various skills I gained throughout my time at University.
