As a dedicated Learning & Development professional with over 19 years of experience, my expertise lies in designing and executing transformative training programs that align with and advance organizational goals. I am passionate about developing talent, fostering growth, and implementing strategic initiatives across various sectors. In my role at Bellingham Cold Storage, I have successfully led the strategic development of comprehensive training programs, significantly enhancing employee retention rates and establishing an effective Learning and Development Department. My achievements include driving the Skillbridge initiative, dramatically increasing retention rates, and being recognized with the President’s Kaizen Continuous Improvement Award for a key safety program implementation. My diverse background spans academia, where I innovatively designed and implemented top-ranking eLearning courses, retail management with a focus on team development, and international education, enhancing language learning and teaching best practices. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Adult Education, Pedagogy, and Student Development from Oregon State University, complementing my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puget Sound.
