About Eugene E. Mondor

With thirty two years experience as a Registered Nurse, including Cardiovascular/Thoracic and Orthopaedic surgery, Eugene has been actively engaged in direct patient care and education roles in adult Critical Care for over the past 20 years. He is currently Clinical Nurse Educator in a large 27 bed adult medical/surgical/trauma Critical Care Unit. He is a certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Rapid Response Team (RRT) Instructor. He is a published author, and has most recently, has contributed to Lewis' Medical-Surgical Nursing: Assessment and Management of Clinical Problems (10th edition), and, Urden, Stacy, and Lough's Critical Care Nursing: Diagnosis and Management (8th edition) and Priorities in Critical Care Nursing (8th edition). He is a well known conference presenter, having lectured locally, nationally, and internationally, across Canada, the United States, and the Middle East, on a wide range of Critical Care topics. Eugene's interactive presentations, which frequently engage audiences, are educational, informative, and humorous.
