As a Human Resources Specialist with Rividium, Inc. subcontracted to the National Science Foundation (NSF), I perform a full range of human resources management duties including recruitment and placement, position management and classification, pay administration, benefits and retirement, training and development, advisory services, program(s) administration, and compliance maintenance. As a Business Office Director for The Claiborne at Hattiesburg (an independent and assisted living resort), I performs a variety of Human Resources, Accounting, Management, and Leadership duties that includes Account Payable (A/P), Account Receivable (A/R), payroll, admissions, bank deposits, billing and census; business office systems organizing, development, and maintenance; staff supervisory; database upkeep and management; employee staffing; training; and liaisons with corporate headquarters. As a Human Resources Specialist with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Navy, I performed a full range of human resources management duties including recruitment and placement, position management and classification, pay administration, employee relations, labor relations, benefits and retirement, training and development, advisory services, program(s) administration, and compliance maintenance. As a Transportation Coordinator with the Department of Veterans Affairs I managed the Beneficial Travel Special Mode Transportation database with over 7,900 veteran patients which requires the coordination of transport to and from their appointments to the Tampa VA Hospital and surrounding medical facilities as a Transportation Assistant in the Patient Travel Department of the James A Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida. I managed the Tampa VA Hospital Federal Police Department’s Police Dispatch Office consisting of over 60 police officers at the James A Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida. I have over 20+ years of administrative experience. I'm retired from the US Army after over 22 years of military service. I served over 15 years in various leadership positions throughout the US Army with exceptional performance. During my military career I trained, taught, and lead soldiers in office administration. I have a Masters of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Strayer University in Tampa, FL; a Bachelors of Administration in Legal Assisting (graduated Cume Laude) from Strayer University in Tampa, FL; and an Associates of Arts Degree in Business Office Administration (graduated with High Honors) from Antonelli College in Hattiesburg, MS.
