About Eugene Khoo

202027 (IPO) I have started my career with KPMG Malaysia and was transferred to KPMG Beijing and KPMG Indonesia for years before I joined Deloitte SEA in 2020. With more than 27 years of cross border experience in big 4, I have broad knowledge of MNC auditing and consulting and have been actively involved in financial assurance and advisory services with broad experience in all aspects of accounting, auditing, and tax matters. In China, I have been serving a wide variety of major clients with significant operations in the PRC, ranging from multinational corporations and foreign-invested enterprises, to state-owned and privately-owned companies. My clients are from a wide range of business sectors which includes auto, retails, consumer goods, industrial and communication industries. In Indonesia and SEA, I am the China Desk and responsible to grow and handle Chinese clients in Indonesia covering SEA and also facilitating cross functions to serve Chinese clients. Nearly native in oral and written Mandarin, and familiar with Chinese culture. On top of assurance services, I am also the sponsor of Beyond Audit Services to promote services covering accounting health check, accounting advice services, expanded internal control testing and technical guidance in preparing financial statements. I have proficient knowledge in IFRS, PRC and PSAK Accounting Standards. In addition, I have been actively involved in various restructuring and initial public offerings made by Chinese companies in various stock exchanges, including Hong Kong and Korea (KOSDAQ).
