About Eugene mc Cusker

A Communications professional with over 20 years experience of working in the Northern Ireland media. From July 2018 to September 2023 I worked as the Communications Officer on two Belfast Met led multi million pounds international energy projects, the GenComm renewable hydrogen programme and the BIMcert digital construction project. I was responsible for compiling the project newsletters, press releases, website content management, social media, monthly communications reports, powerpoint slides and building stakeholder databases. A seasoned journalist I have worked as a staff journalist at the Co Down Spectator newspaper, and at Agenda NI magazine. I also freelanced in the Belfast Telegraph and the Irish News. My pr roles included Queens University Press Officer, Action MS charity Communications Officer, DCPPR PR Account Executive, and copywriter PCI. I have excellent contacts in the irish media, and excellent writing skills.
