As a Solution Engineer at Summa NV with a background spanning aerospace, manufacturing, and automation, I bring over a decade of hands-on experience in transforming complex challenges into practical, technical solutions. My journey began in aircraft engineering with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), where I honed my skills in precision, discipline, and high-pressure problem-solving. I later served as a Plant Manager at Building Blocs, leading operations and manufacturing teams to improve production workflows and drive process improvements. These experiences laid a strong foundation in systems thinking, technical troubleshooting, and people leadership. Today at Summa, I support customers across Asia, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand as a second-line technical expert. I specialize in flatbed cutting systems — guiding installations, resolving machine issues, providing application support, and representing the company in regional exhibitions. My role bridges headquarters engineering with real-world customer needs, ensuring our machines perform reliably and effectively across diverse use cases.
