About Eugene Yip

Transitioning to industrial research to work at the intersection of theory and practice where I can apply my research experience in real-time, safety-critical, multicore embedded systems to bring cutting-edge technologies to market. Through my research experience at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and the University of Bamberg, Germany, I have expertise in the parallel programming of embedded multicores, timing analysis, task scheduling and optimisation, formal methods, model-driven engineering, domain-specific languages, and heart modelling. I have collaborated with top researchers from the University of California, Berkeley and the French research institute, INRIA on deterministic and time-critical systems, and have transferred research on the Logical Execution Time (LET) task model to the TA Tool Suite through a feasibility study and demonstrator implementation at Timing-Architects Embedded Systems GmbH (now Vector Informatik GmbH). I have lectured in the field of cyber-physical systems, software engineering, compiler construction, and software verification.
